News!

Hello!
Sorry about the podcast has been in-avtive for a couple of weeks
But for the next couple of weeks the Podcast will be hosted by Me and also Appering on a podcast
Will be Henry Floyd who has also be Hosting a Podcast and he also made us a NEW Theme!
Now for the News!

Richard Curtis To Write for Who!

According to UK tabloid newspaper, The Sun, Richard Curtis is lined up to write for Series Five of Doctor Who.

The much-loved star, who is famous for such TV shows as The Vicar of Dibley and Blackadder, and Films such as Love Actually and Four Weddings and a Funeral, is even quoted saying the following:

"There will be a monster. And a famous historical figure will battle the monster. It's tremendously good fun and a treat for my children. These days the things you can watch together as a family are much fewer so when you get something like Doctor Who or The X Factor it is such a pleasure to sit down as a family. Maybe it's a desire to get out of being old. Sometimes you do just love the idea that you could go back in time and change things."

Also He has said that his Episode will be airing around febuary!
Does that mean that we'll get Series 5 alot sooner?
Also theres a rumor that the series could be in 2 parts?

Weng-Chiang Monster is real!
OK... so maybe it's not *quite* as big as the Giant Rat seen in the 4th Doctor adventure; The Talons of Weng-Chiang, but the BBC's Natural History Unit have uncovered a Giant Rat in the remote rainforests of Papua New Guinea
The giant rodent weighs in at a whopping 1.5kg and measures 82cm from nose to tail.

In the Classic Series adventure, The Talons of Weng-Chiang, a Giant Rat haunts the sewer systems of Victorian London, and even attacks the Doctors assistant, Leela

It is with deepest regret that The Shadow Proclamations Podcast announces the passing of Actor; Ray Barrett.

Ray was probably best known to Doctor Who fans for his role as Bennett / Koquillion in the 1st Doctor adventure; The Rescue, which was recently released on DVD.

We would like to extend its sympathies to Ray's family and friends.

Here the new changes to the shadow proclamtions podcast next week!

Update!

Heres A Quick Update From Me!

Adam has asked me to post my opinions on the Siltheen and the Regeration effects.
1st, the Silthteen. I think the Siltheen are a bit of a joke.
They are good aliens/monsters but theytryed to make them funny rarther then scary
E.g. Farting or "Gas Exchange"

2nd The Regeration effects. My Favourite is the Hartnel To Troughtan Effect!
There's an Specal Feature on Regeration on "The War Games DVD"
They talk about All of the regerations (So far) but i think there all good (some more than others).
I'm looking forward to seeing the Tennant- Smith regeration!
I have heard a few rumors and one seems like it actully happen.

Heres some News aticles. That may intrest you!

Hello again…

In episode two of the podcast we talked about regenerations… I want to know what your favourite regeneration effect is, the look of the regeneration – So, are you a Hartnell’s White Glow fan or an Eccleston’s Big Balls of Fire man? – Be sure to vote in our poll at the side and leave a comment here about why you like the particular effect…

We also asked how you classified episodes of Doctor Who, if you have an interesting method then make a note of it in your comment and share it with the world!

Mr David Tennant is still at the top of that league of extraordinary gentlemen which we call The Shadow Proclamations Doctor of the Week, it only takes a second to change that, so make sure that your favourite Doctor takes the top spot next week.

Finally, I’d like to congratulate Peter on a fantastic first news report – well done mate, keep up the good work – you can leave a message for him here, or indeed when he makes his blog post soon this week.

As always, thank you for listening and taking part in the show,

Adam@ShadowProclamations

PS… My microphone *STILL* isn’t recording properly, I’ll be using the one built into my laptop to record the next podcast once again. Anyway, how does it sound on your iPods? Can you hear it? Drop me an e-mail at shadowproclamations@live.co.uk telling me.
